求教各位网上大侠


我现在马上要去google面试上班。就是想问下,它里面该注意些什么呢?还有假如说要是做销售的话,那我又应该会电脑哪方面的呢?求叫各位了啊!谢谢,请尽快给我回复!!!

google面试经验

机缘巧合之下,我在离开北京的那天,能够到google北京的临时办公室去面试。
(鉴于我离开的时候好像签了non-disclosure agreement的东东,里面太多单词不懂,
所以直接签了就走了,现在想起来好像是要求我对面试内容保密的,所以下面说的只是我
的感受,与面试内容都无关)
ps.假如有google面试的话,一般都会进行五面的。可惜我赶着坐火车回来,只能面三轮

和我联系的是一名香港人Ben,电话上甚至还说上粤语,所以我是比较轻松的去google
公司。谁知道一进去,负责接待我的是一位外国PPMM,可怜我只是听懂她说他们要开会,
让我等20分钟,我只会说OK和Thank you,连“Can I speak Chinese”或者“That's
all”的机会都没有,更不用说搭讪了。。。

等了20分钟之后进了一间房间,眼前一亮的是几台dell的2X寸液晶显示器。我问到底
是多少寸的液晶,Ben说不知道,不过正式的google办公室是每个员工配备两台这样的液
晶来工作的。。。正当我yy着如何用两台2X寸的液晶来练习左右互搏的时候,一面面试官
就来到了,开始了面试。。。

至于面试内容。。。多看点书,注意平时的积累吧,问题都很开放性的,而且还问
得很深入,直到你无法招架为止,每一面我都有一题做不出来。少不了的当然是当场写
程序,这个我还是做得比较好的。

最后让我提问题,感触最深的是三面的面试官,我提的问题大多是关于google在中国
的战略是什么。他大概是这么说的,google来中国的目的并不是打败什么公司或者抢占
市场,google最注重的是人才。google注意到中国有许多人才,而这些人才中有一些是
不愿意到国外工作的,所以google只是决定要不要这批人才。最终,google决定要,所以
就来了中国。google的运行模式也是很特殊的,只要你有好的idea,你提出来,通过的话
就可以联络志同道合的人一起来做这个项目了,不用考虑赚不赚钱的,只要你是为用户服
务的。这个模式有好处也有坏处,好的就是可以激发员工的创造力和动力,坏的就是根本
不知道google向哪个方向发展。。。

一番话让我佩服得五体投地,把老子无为的思想运用得这么极致。如果能进google
当然好了,如果进不到也不要紧,去google面试已经是一种享受了。
辞职前给google投了一份简历,应聘Google Adwords Representative (Beijing Office),共通过了4个关口:

1. 第二天就收到Grmmay猎头(上海)的长途面试电话——过关

2. 重新准备英文简历,让Google美国挑选——过关


碰巧的时,我的从业经验几乎满足Google美国此职位的所有要求,就好像专门为我设定的一样。在稍后的电话面试时,对方也表示我的从业经验令人非常impressive。其实Google Beijing同样的职位,在某些方面的要求放低了。

3. 英文试题5页,全是广告的案例分析,CTR,ROI,最后一道是开放性的试题——过关


自认为这是表现最完美的一关,因为以前一直是Adwords的sponsor,所以很了解。

4. 今早上8:00接受google美国总部英语电话面试,一共3个人——不过关


这是本人第一次和老外正式的口语交流,根本吃不准对方能否理解我的哑巴英语,很没自信,偶尔还装结巴,口语面试大概15-20分钟,问了7个问题,自认为答到点子上了,但是由于对口语没自信,所以答题太本分,毫无创意和火花,第二天被告知,没通过。

我就死在了口语上。毕业后,虽然工作一直离不开英语,可基本是通过email与鬼子交流,口语一直是哑巴。外企对非技术类岗位的口语要求都挺高,并且Google Beijing并不是局限于为Google中文网站服务,某些岗位是服务全球的,尤其是Adwords广告业务可能服务整个亚太,所以口语沟通必须无障碍。

听Grammy说,如果通过第4关,后面是学习能力测试和Google Beijing面试。

附: 另一个朋友的Google面试经历


另一个朋友今年清华毕业,本科是川大的,也过了把Google面试瘾。先电面,然后由Google Beijing 安排面试,对技术类岗位的口语要求低些,直接用中文面试。面试前,是要签保密协议的。

其中一轮面试是一个老头儿,他让你挑选你最擅长的领域,他来提问,需要注意的是,他会有意的把你的思路往错误的方向引导,针对每一个问题,他最后总会给出几个方案,让你挑一个你认为最好的。而实际上,他提供的这些方案全是陷阱,或者是很绕弯子。

朋友最后也被老头儿绕进去了,很简单的问题都没答好,最后自我总结原因:不自信带来的紧张所致。

所以,大家请千万自信,不要被吓住了。其实,经历多了,见多了,就自然而然了。

10月底,Google在美国《麻省技术评论》、《LinuxJournal》、《Mensa》、《今日物理》等几本专业杂志上,刊登了一份“Google实验室能力倾向测试”。
  试卷开头,蛊惑地写着“试试看!把答案寄回Google,你有希望去Google总部参观,并成为我们其中一员”。

我看了这些题目,虽然古怪,但是也不算有困难,有兴趣的人可以做完了邮寄给google公司,也许会得到一个工作机会呢。
